Description:
The Colorado Council on Economic Education provides professional development centered around a curriculum resource from the National Council on Economic Education. Titled Civics and Government: Focus on Economics, the curriculum provides 16 lessons linking economics to topics commonly taught and civics and government. Topics covered include how the Constitution shaped the U.S. economy, the connection between economic and civil liberties, and the costs and benefits of voting. Professional development is provided by a team comprised of an economist and a master teacher.
