While allegedly retired, Gayna Warren works as an office manager for CELD, the Lupus Foundation of Colorado, and the Colorado Medical Directors Association. Prior to her “retirement,” she worked for the Aurora Public Schools, providing support to the administration at North Middle School and in the special education department at the district office. Gayna is a past-president of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals. She currently serves on two NAEOP governing boards, one providing professional development opportunities, the other overseeing the association’s certification program; she also serves as the Presidential Advisor to the NAEOP 2010-2011 President and Board of Directors. She is a graduate of Regis University.
Gayna collects jewelry and enjoys crafting, particularly cross-stitch. She also likes to travel; among her favorite destinations is Central City (that fact that she and her sister were recently featured in a casino ad suggests she does not go for the opera). Her dog Alexander, the apple of her eye, keeps a low profile in the CELD menagerie but can be seen on Gayna’s Facebook page.
